Film Forum on End-of-Life Issues: “Las Invasiones Bárbaras”

Second session of the End-of-Life Film Forum organized by the Youngner Chair in Empirical Bioethics (CYBE), within the framework of the INEDyTO 3 project. This series will take place between September and January and will include a total of four screenings focused on end-of-life practices from an ethical perspective.

The sessions will be moderated by Miguel Melguizo, a retired family physician and associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Granada.

• Title: Las Invasiones Bárbaras

• Synopsis: A man with advanced cancer is struggling to come to terms with the reality of his impending death and to find a moment of peace before the end, especially since he has reasons to regret certain aspects of his past. His son—from whom he had grown estranged—his ex-wife, his examiners, and his old friends will come to be with him to share his final moments.
