Meeting with a predoctoral student from South Korea on organ donation research

Last Saturday, 18 July, the research team held a meeting at the Vice-Rectorate of the University of Granada with Minji Kim, a predoctoral student from Busan University of Foreign Studies (South Korea), who is undertaking a research stay in Spain to gain a deeper understanding of the Spanish organ donation and transplantation system and to explore potential proposals for improving organ donation policies in her home country. Among the researchers participating in the meeting was Alberto Molina Pérez.

The meeting reflects the team’s long-standing research on the ethical and social dimensions of organ donation and transplantation. Team members have participated in projects such as INEDyTO I and II, the PACIS Survey, the development and validation of the TRUST Questionnaire, as well as national and international initiatives including ISSATO and RESPONDE, establishing a strong research programme focused on ethics, public trust, and attitudes towards organ donation.
