Íñigo Álvarez Gálvez holds a PhD in Philosophy (Autonomous University of Madrid, 1997) and a PhD in Law (UNED, 2009). His main research interests have focused on utilitarian doctrine (particularly English utilitarianism), the foundations of human rights, and bioethics. He is currently a researcher on the research project “Diagnosis of Needs in the Implementation of Public Policies on End-of-Life Care in Spain” at the University of Granada.
